The school does not currently have a system of ID for staff.  Would you like to see staff wear ID badges?**

** Since this questionnaire went out, and partly as a result of the responses, all school staff now wear staff ID badges to clearly tell the difference between staff and visitors - who have their own, different badge.

NB - Any responses/changes made are in brackets after each point)

*  "Security code is known to everyone – it should be changed (Newton)"

(The security code is no longer used - key fobs are needed to gain access and so visitors have to press the intercom to be allowed in by staff.  Soon, this will further be updated with the addition of a video camera so staff can see who is pressing the intercom button)

*  "Building needs re-painting"  *  "Buildings need a fresh lick of paint"

(As you will have seen, the painting has started in December 2014, as have other grounds maintenance projects, such as the hedges being sorted etc)

*  "Newton not as safe as main building – no one at entrance.  People could walk around and not be spotted."

(From December 2014 onwards, CCTV cameras are situated to cover the outside of both buildings, to avoid this issue)
