Buildings & Grounds
Maintenance of the grounds and buildings and security of the school is regularly reviewed and action taken where necessary. Several changes have been made to the Newton Building since the start of the Autumn Term, which have helped to improve the learning environment for both pupils and staff. We have an on-going programme of repairs and maintenance to the fabric of the buildings, which include the repair and refurbishment of external windows & doors.
Health & Safety & Audits & Fire Assessments of the school buildings and grounds are carried out on a regular basis.
Visitors to the school are closely monitored and are required sign in and collect a badge at the School Office.
This year, we have set up 'Forest Schools' outside the Newton Building, which is now used as part of our curriculum, and we are working to develop the outside area of both buildings.
